PRISMA drives healthcare digitalisation at ULS Lezíria and ULS São José

Prólogica celebrates the successful implementation of PRISMA, its innovative digital solution, in two leading Local Health Units (ULS): ULS Lezíria and ULS São José.
This achievement reinforces Prólogica’s commitment to healthcare digital transformation and the promotion of quality care.

PRISMA enables the unification of patients’ clinical information, the systematisation of care pathways, and the structured recording of clinical outcomes and case-mix variables.

This approach provides an integrated view of patients’ health status, enhancing the continuous improvement of the care delivered.

At ULS Lezíria, the solution was implemented in the Ophthalmology department, led by Dr. Cristina Amorim, with a focus on structuring data related to consultations and surgical procedures, particularly in the area of cataract surgery.

At ULS São José, PRISMA is operational at the Integrated Responsibility Centre for Surgical Treatment of Obesity (CRITCO), under the coordination of Dr. Leonor Manaças. Here, the solution enables comprehensive clinical monitoring of patients, contributing to better health outcomes in bariatric surgery.

The success of this initiative is due to the strong involvement of clinical and management teams from both institutions, who actively participated in defining requirements, designing clinical forms, and conducting real-world testing. The continuous feedback exchange was essential in fine-tuning the solution to the specific needs of each context.

Prólogica also highlights the crucial role played by the IT teams at ULS Lezíria and ULS São José, whose collaboration, flexibility, and responsiveness were fundamental throughout the entire implementation process.

Through this experience, Prólogica strengthens its role as a strategic partner in healthcare digitalisation, developing solutions that enhance clinical information and place the patient at the centre of the system.
